Welcome to Way of Life Chiropractic:
We believe that every individual can benefit from chiropractic care. If you have a spine, it should be checked regularly by a chiropractor to allow your body to be working at its’ fullest potential. It does not matter if you are a pregnant mother, a parent bringing in a child, adult, or an elder. We will get you a personalized care plan that is designed to meet your needs.
How to determine treatment?
This starts with your first initial visit and completing the proper intake forms. We then perform a detailed physical exam focusing on a thorough history followed by any orthopedic, neurological, and muscle tests that would be needed. Then we will check your spine for range of motion and determine which segments (vertebrae) are restricted and review your goals. We will then perform a chiropractic adjustment and create a personalized treatment plan just for you.
About Dr. Clay:
Dr. Clayton Staib is thrilled to be working with the Willoughby community and surrounding areas. He is a 2016 graduate of Heidelberg University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Health and Human Performance. He then received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, GA in December of 2019. Upon graduation, he moved back to Northeast Ohio and worked for 5 years as an associate before opening Way of Life.
Dr. Clay discovered his love for chiropractic while at Heidelberg. He was a 4-year letter recipient for football and a 3-year starter at linebacker. Going into his sophomore year, he injured his back and was expected to miss a significant amount of time. However, his chiropractor adjusted his spine and got him back on the field much faster than anticipated. Dr. Clay walked out of that office knowing what he was going to do for the rest of his life. He wanted to help people feel better the way his chiropractor helped him. He believes it is important that each patient knows that their body can heal on its own if there is a clear connection between the brain and the rest of the body. The best way to support a healthy body is by receiving chiropractic care to make sure the spine and other joints in the body are moving with ease. Eliminating pain is not the only goal, but the elimination of pain allows us to function the way our bodies were intended to move. He utilizes several techniques because he believes each patient is unique and requires a personalized approach.
Originally from Alliance, OH, Dr. Clay met his wife, Sarah, at Heidelberg. They got married in the summer of 2018 and currently live in Willoughby area with their two kids. They enjoy camping during the summer months and going down to his parent’s farm just outside of Alliance where all the cousins will fish, ride ATVs, and relax. Dr. Clay also enjoys hunting, cooking on his smoker, and finding new hiking trails with his family.
